This excellent Chablis is made by the Gautheron family who have been cultivating vines in Chablis for five generations. The current head of the 20 hectare domaine is Alain Gautheron who works alongside his son Cyril to continue the family's excellent reputation in the region. This is a delightfully crisp and refreshing Chardonnay with a lively acidity that makes for an excellent food wine.
A clear light golden colour, flecked through with emerald green, look for scents of lemon, hazelnuts and ginger. Fresh and mineral on the palate with flavours of green fruits and pineapple. The classic accompaniment to oysters or chicken with crayfish. Try also with trout stuffed with spinach and shallots.
