Entre Deux Mers is a region of Bordeaux to be found between the Garonne and Dordogne Rivers, and the surrounding hills of the area are made up of silt, limestone and clay - perfect for the cultivation of a number of grapes. Chateau Deville is based at the village of Rions and is owned by the Deville family who also make a range of excellent Champagnes in Northern France. This fruity white is a blend of mainly Sauvignon with a splash of Semillon and pairs well with mildly spiced dishes.
A pale golden in colour. Aromas of quince, lime and honey. On the palate, notes of peach and gooseberry with an intense acidity leading to a lengthy finish. Try with roast duck with peaches, a warm seafood salad with chillies and watercress or a plate of chicken shawarma wraps.
