Naciente's owner, Villa Fray Leon, is a large winemaking concern that has been operating since 1996. They cultivate over 700 hectares of vineyards within Chile ranging from the Casablanca Valley in the north via the Cachapoal Valley (where the main winery is located) to the Maule Valley in the south. Everything is organic, yields are kept low and quality control is rigorous. The grapes for this buttery white come from the Colchagua Valley. The wine is unoaked.
A golden amber in the glass. Scents of tropical and stone fruits, backed up by a zippy minerality. On the palate, rich and ripe with further citrus fruit notes. The acidity is well balanced and the finish short yet refreshing. Altogether a very approachable wine. Try with grilled mackerel, roast chicken or slow roast pork belly.
