The estate was established in 1991 and is situated between the city of Cerignola and the Saline di Margherita di Savoie on Italy’s Puglian coast. The Azienda is run strictly along organic lines by Raffaele di Tuccio with the help of son Luigi and wife Antonia. They specialise in the cultivation of local grape varieties including Nero di Troia, Negro Amaro, Fiano and Falanghina. This juicy white is a 50/50 blend of Fiano and Falanghina The grapes are manually harvested and only wild yeasts are employed. After a short fermentation the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 8 months before release.
A pale straw in colour. Aromas of lemon peel and apple with vegetal notes. On the palate, lively and fresh with a forward acidity leading to a bright finish. Great with poached seabass, acquasala (Puglian bread and tomato salad) or fava bean puree with chicory.
