The estate was founded by the late Gianni Masciarelli in 1978, with the first wines being released in 1981. In 1987 Gianni married Marina Cvetic and between them they expanded the initial 2.5 hectares of vineyards to the present day 350 hectares scattered in 144 towns in Abruzzo's 4 provinces of Chieti, Teramo, Pescara and l'Aquila. All the vineyards are rich in minerals and clay which lend a 'stony' aspect to the wines. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, this Trebbiano is a fresh and approachable white which pairs well with simple fish dishes.

A pale lemon in colour. On the  nose, scents of grapefruit, green apple and pear. On the palate, bright and fresh with a pronounced minerality leading to a short but concentrated finish. Try with shrimp Orzo salad, baked cod with lemon caper mash or a chunk of Pecorino cheese.
