The estate of Monte Dall'Ora is owned by Alessandra and Carlo Venturini and is located at Castellroto, in the hills outside Verona. The Venturinis are firm adherents to biodynamic principles and encourage the growth of biodiversity by planting herbs such as rosemary and lavender in the summer to attract bees and by sowing cereals in the winter, the roots of which aerate the soil. In addition, indigenous grape varieties are employed wherever possible. Camporenzo is a blend of 50% Corvina, 30% Corvinone and 20% Rondinella and spends 9 months in oak barrels before bottling.
A cherry-red in the glass. On the nose, hints of summer red fruits, straw and sweet spices. On the palate, well structured and balanced with a fresh acidity, making this a great food wine with lamb ragu, wild mushroom risotto or Taleggio cheese.
