Since 1805 the Plageoles family have carried out the tradition of vigneron in Gaillac, producing white wines from the native Gaillac white grape varieties of Mauzac and Ondenc and red wines from the native Gaillac red grape varieties of Duras, Braucol and Prunelart. It is largely due to the family's hard work and adventurous spirit that the wines of Gaillac are placed firmly on the wine map. Currently the domaine is run by Florent and Romain Plageoles who tend the 23 hectares of white grape varieties and 7 hectares of red varieties strictly according to organic principles, using only naturally occurring yeasts. As the name suggests, this delightful sweetie is made from 100% Ondenc and is made almost exclusively from raisins passerillé (dried on the vine without botrytis). Yields are extremely low at 12-15 hl/ha and following fermentation the wine is raised in 600 litre casks.

A pale amber in the glass. Scents of figs and honey on the nose. On the palate, rich and silky leading to a fresh and clean finish. Try with an almond frangipane tart with cranberries, creme brulee or a pear tarte tatin.
