The house was founded in 1966 by Jean-Paul Deville and is situated in the centre of the village of Verzy, just 20km south east of the Champagne capital, Reims. Jean-Paul and his daughter Marie-Alice run the estate producing a range of excellent Champagnes. What sets the estate's wines apart is the dominance of the Pinot Noir grape in the blend and this particular Champagne is made from 70% Grand Cru Pinot Noir grapes plus 30% Chardonnay - a real 'Champagne-lover's Champagne'.

A delicate straw yellow in the glass. The nose demonstrates mineral infused notes, accentuated by elegant red berry scents and a delicate toasty nuance. On the palate, ripe and generous with fresh red berry and citrus flavours. The finish is dry and refreshing. Makes for a great summer aperitif. Otherwise try with smoked salmon, mature Brie or a bowl of wild strawberries!
